Maur focus

We focus on teaching high level Qur’an recitation and knowledge’s associated with Qur’an, free for the sake of Allah. Alhamdulillah, we have a large variety of courses. See Courses tab for more information.

What is Maur project?

MAUR (Madrasah Arsh Ur Rahman) project is to expand the current courses and build a Masjid and an institute which will cater for a wider population in Southampton. Our mission is to equip every child growing up in Southampton with the knowledge of the Qur’an, Hadith, Aqeedah, Arabic language and Seerah of the prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. All of our courses, Alhamdulillah, are currently free and will remain free. We want to make the first  Authentic major Islamic Institute in UK which will be free for all who desire to learn the knowledge which was delivered through the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم free of charge.

The method of learning

MAUR operates seven days a week with extended hours on the weekend. We have learning circles, classroom teaching, individual research projects, discussions, question and answer, Video presentations and a book reading club. We also offer one to one tajweed lessons for high performing students.

Any donation you make towards the MAUR project of building a Masjid and Islamic institute will be 100% devoted to the project.
